How should a mixed suspension enquiry be organized?
Prepare a drawing list so the quotation can distinguish versions, operations and quantities. Wontide reviews casting, heat treatment and machining against the required delivery scope.
- List the drawing number, revision, assembly position and quantity for each version separately.
- Mark finished datums, fits and critical interfaces; distinguish cast surfaces from machined features.
- State material, heat treatment, coating coverage and any bush or assembly requirements included in the enquiry.
- Identify sample approval records, inspection requirements and batch delivery needs for each drawing.
Before you send your drawing
Can upper, lower and combined brackets share one enquiry description?
List them as separate drawings or versions, with their own quantities and mounting interfaces. Include the complete drawing for a combined torque rod and brake chamber bracket.
How do I separate cast and machined supply in the drawing list?
Mark cast surfaces and finished features for each version, identify datums and fits, and show which operations are inside or outside the requested supply.
